Infrastructure projects
Chemical Dosing Buildings - Moe
Renovation of existing building, new shed,

These complex works were required to be conducted within the existing operating facility, without interruption to the water treatment operations.
The Works include setting up of temporary chemical dosing systems, extensive internal demolition and upgrade of existing chemical storage building, construction of internal epoxy coated concrete bund & installation of structural steel support to existing masonry elevation and new steel & gridmesh floor. Supply & Installation of 4 x 10,000Ltr double bunded storage tanks, Poly Batch Unit & 9 x dosing pumps on skids with associated fittings and flow meters, dosing pipework.
Construction of new free standing shed with internal epoxy coated concrete bund & steel & gridmesh floor. Supply & Installation of 2 x 10,000Ltr double bunded storage tanks with associated level sensors / indicators& pipework. Construction of concrete driveway delivery bund and chemical fill points with tank level displays and safety showers etc.
High Level Tank - Warragul
Design & Construction of new tank tower.
The 260kL steel water storage tank was assembled on the tank platform at ground level, lifted and mounted top of the 17m high structural steel stand. Tank works include structural footing, access platforms and associated pipe work.
The Civil works included the construction of approximately 130 metres of new DN150 PVC water inlet main from proposed water tower to the existing DN150 PVC rising main and approximately 35 meters of DN225 PVC water outlet and overflow mains including flow meter, flow meter pit, valves connections and electrical conduits and pits.

Pumpstation - Warragul
New Building

Construction of the Tyssen Street Treated Water Pump Station at Warragul water treatment plant, included the tilt slab building, gantry crane, foundations, piers, footings, drains, access track, gates, pipe supports and other associated works.
Inlet works - Moe
New Stainless Steel pipe works

The Combined Inlet Works provide an integrated piping system from the Tanjil and Narracan sources with an intelligent computerised analysing and dosing system in the form of a spectroanalyser to improve water quality, and to remove the hydraulic restriction.
The Combined Inlet include approx. 94m of DN450 and DN400 above ground stainless steel raw water pipelines and associated fittings, reinforced concrete pipeline supports, retaining walls, dosing system, sample shed and sampling equipment, electrical works, break pressure storage tank, fencing and electric operated entrance gate.
Sewer Pipeline - Toms Bridge
Replace existing pipe line suspended under existing bridge

Approximately 50m of DN200 PVC pipe by open trench, including all fittings, valves, bypass arrangements, connections and associated work was installed either side of the bridge with suitable Traffic Management.
Removal of approximately 150m of existing Asbestos Sewer Main and replacement with OD219 MSCL pipe attached to the existing bridge with modified pipe support brackets.
Using the innovative cantilevered Layher scaffold system to span the Latrobe River, support the temporary PE bypass away from road deck, and facilitate safe removal of the existing Asbestos Sewer Main, and efficient work environment to install the new MSCL.
Chlorine Building - Moe
New Building

This project is sited on the lower side of the Clear Water Storage and required a considered construction methodology and strategic excavation of the footings to avoid bulk excavation and potential destabilisation of the existing dam wall.
The complicated arrangement of existing services on site calls for, delicate, exposing of and connection to existing Air, Water, Mechanical & Electrical Services.
The building includes a hardstand for truck loading via overhead gantry, storage facility and dosing facility for Chlorine.
